a good time - better than my earlier 5K - and especially good considering i was late and had to run 1 K before even getting to the start line.  because i was late i had to run with the walkers the first 4 K.  didn't have chips for this race so this time is based on my watch.  cold and rainy about 4 degrees.  ran another 2 K after race.

Was this a 5 mile race or a 5k? Great job either way.

Great run Neek. Dropped down 3 minutes from your first 5km a few months ago is a great accomplishment. Keep up the great work!!!

4 degrees?? Really? That is so cold! Nicely done on the race!

Hi everyone, thanks for the kind words! Yes - it was 5 K not 5 miles - and yes, 4 degrees C is definitely cold - but I tend to run faster in the cold so it's not all bad :) Hope your training is going well...

Congratulations on the improvement!

Note that since the race distance was in kilometers, you should put 3.107 for the race distance in the report, not 5. This will remove the confusion.
